He'll never hear
So much left in pieces
Too much distance, yet he sems closer.
Hearts broken, Promises broken,
Lives put on hold.

Tears he'll never know about
Feelings she cant express
She said she would never leave him
But she had to.
One life protected, two hearts broken.

She had plans.
He encouraged her.
He stood by her side
They said those 3 words
That now seem so empty

She used to be able to stand on her own two feet.
Then she relied on him too much.
She lost herself in him
Now she's lost without him there.
But the only thing she can do
Is let time heal her heart.
